Notes

have to swatch to verify gauge….
23sts x 28rows on 3,5mm, and I tend to get looser along the work…

I’ll knit it on 3mm needles, OH MY GOD, I’ll finish it next year! :S That’s for sure! Edit: And… I did took a year to finish!
24sts x 32rows on 3,0mm

7May: Started collar with 2,75mm dpn’s, and as I’m too tight on dpn’s, and I’m using 100% cotton, almost didn’t pass through my head!! But, it passed, so I keep it like this, let’s see how it goes….

Just divided sleeves from body… and, although my gauge it’s perfect, neck/armpit high it’s short! and can’t increase more sts on raglan lines, because it will be large on chest and arms….
Rip it all!!!!
buy dark blue for MC and will start all over…. :(

Mods:

  • End of round rows on back raglan line, instead on front
  • More 4 short rows on neck than pattern to a deeper collar
  • raglan increases every 3 rows, on last third of yoke rows, to achieve more low armpit.
  • Decided to knit a dress, so I’m knitting body with fitted waist (mostly on back, on 2 darts), for a flatter fit: 4sts (2sts each side), 2 times, 12 rows apart; then 28sts waist decreases, 6 rows apart (dec 6+6+6+6+4), and mirrored the same 28sts increases, 6 rows apart. Now I have again the same nr of sts back and front, divided by side markers.
  • For a round skirt, put 2 more dart markers on front, 12sts from side markers, keeping the 2 back darts markers, and increase 2sts on each side of dart markers, 8 rows apart until hem. Finish with twisted rib.
  • Sleeves: 64+4sts, dec 4sts on 1st dark blue band, 2sts on 2nd, 4th and 7th dark blue bands (10sts total), keep on until cuff, dec 4sts evenly on 1st twisted rib cuff row.
