First design for the Cardigans of the Galaxy collection. This one, inspired by Groot, has tree-like cables down the back, and well as along the v-neck front to mimic branches.

Top-down, set in sleeves with sts picked up all along the armscye (cap is shaped with short rows), grandpa cozy style.

For sizes 32(35, 38, 41, 44, 47, 50) I’m estimating 3(3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5) skeins Zalti (600 yds/225 g skein), or 1500(1675, 1915, 2115, 2285, 2455, 2570) yards of heavy worsted/light aran weight yarn. The garment is intended to be worn with a few inches of positive ease.
