I used drops alpaca for the sneakers. And I used some embroidery floss from my stash for the laces.

I missed the part of the instructions that said to do the laces before seeing up the back, so I put them on later. I tied a knot and went through the hole in the bottom of the shoe, then tied another knot just before pulling the last lace through. Hopefully it stays.
