I’ve been at home a lot during this season and I’ve been cleaning up! I’ve cleaned closets… I have also been using up a lot of my old yarn. It feels so liberating not to spend but to use what I have! I’ve knitted scarves, cowls, and socks. My favorite project was my barn raising quilt and I’ve been thinking about starting another one for quite some time. I got out my books and searched on ravelry and decided to make a log cabin quilt out of my leftover sock yarns. I don’t know when I’ll finish as there is no hurry! I’m just going to see where the project takes me…
I highly recommend referring to the Mason Dixon book and reading about log cabin knitting!

4/10 I’m going to finish for now and display this at IN the Making as I’m teaching a class on log cabin knitting. The blanket is about 30 inches square. It is a great size for a small baby blanket. It is so much fun to work on and to see where the next color takes you!
