Made this while sick on the couch one day.

Started out making Jane Richmond’s Autumn:

CO 96 on 4.5mm needles, knit brim to 4.5 inches then joined for double brim.

Then I decided not to do seed stitch, I was inspired by Andrea Goutier’s Hurricane Hat, and just made a purl every 12th stitch and pushed over by one each round. Knit 1 inch on 4.5mm, then switched to 5.5mm, knit hat to 8.5 inches, then decreased two round using k2tog and p2tog (at the purls). Very cozy hat!
