I started by knitting the second border and putting it on a stitch holder, this way, I can knit as many repeats of the main pattern without fear of running out of yarn for the finishing border.

This yarn is amazing, in the skein it looked like pretty separate repeats of grey and purple but knit up it reminds me of wisteria flowers. It’s my second time knitting malabrigo sock, the first time was a present, I’m soooo glad this one is for me !

15/06/12 : wonder why I let this sleep for so long !
16 repeats and I can almost not look at the chart, would have happened sooner if I had not left it sleep for so long, I’m sure.

18/06 : all done, 27 and 1/2 repeats, 3g left over
