8-5-16 - thank you to Katie for the FO photos! (now y’all can see the sweater really is Summer Navy!)
8-1-16 - and done!
7-29-16 - finished the sleeves. did decreases a little faster (rounds 14, 22, 30) since my arms are so thin. also bound off all stitches knit wise to hold that bottom edge firm.
7-22-16 - and tonight I finished the back and joined the shoulders. sleeves, here I come! (have used up three balls so far)
7-18-16 - woot! shoulder is better and I was able to get through both fronts.
7-11-16 - through the 2nd neck decrease…and my shoulder hurts. setting this project aside for a bit.
7-10-16 - almost done with the side shaping and 10 rows til I start the neck decreases. one inch into the 3rd ball.
7-7-16 - several inches into the 2nd ball.
7-5-16 - finally made it to the decreases (row 43) and it feels much faster on the size 3’s.
7-1-16 - perfect gauge on size 3’s. working the ribbing on 1’s…slow going!
6-29-16 - previous experience with this yarn says 4’s are way too big (~5.5 st/in) so I swatched on 3’s and 2.5’s. Wet blocked both and now they’re hanging. will decide which needle works best tomorrow and cast on. pretty jazzed to see that Amy is hosting a summer cardi KAL…small needles might need that kind of encouragement to ensure I really finish it this summer!
