MC= (5) gray
CC1 = (4) tan
CC2 = (44) blue
adding a YO between the 1st and 2rd K stitch at the beginning of each row (and dropping it on the way back) to be able to block the edge straight.
MC and CC2 cones are looking pretty slim, but CC1 looks like it could knit another one. sorry I don’t have better usage totals! finished weight of the piece ~ 96g=2 cones=900yds?
84” long by 13” wide. I can tell I took it easy on the blocking…. it could’ve been a lot wider and not so long…but I love it - perfect as a scarf!
4-6-13 - I think the whipped edge is fine. truly, I’m the only one who even knows it’s there.
4-4-13 - finished and bound off yesterday (used Stephen West’s k2togTBL, move stitch back to the left needle bindoff). wet blocked today. and SNAPPED the yarn at the caston edge. YIKES! I’ve never done that before. hoping (praying!) I can whip the edge with some matching thread once it’s dry and salvage the piece. any other ideas welcome!!
3-19-13 - through 10 repeats of section 2.
3-28-13 - through 8-1/2 repeats of section 3. yikes! the rows are getting LONG!
