started increases on 1st row. working K1, YO, M1L…M1R, YO, K1 on each row and using the YOs from the row before to do the M1s.
bound off with k2tog TBL, pass stitch back to left needle
6-1-13 - done! well, except for the blocking….a little later and it’s blocking. delighted with the straight edge! 84”x13”
5-30-13 - halfway through the 10th stripe…the rows are super long! (note that stripe #9 used up more than half of a ball of panama - guess I won’t have any yarn to return!)
4-5-13 - finished the first 3 sections at today’s KAL. decided to cut the yarn so I don’t have the contrast colors going up the sides. also, the pattern wasn’t clear to me about how to get the stripes to be fat/thin and thin/fat… but it made sense to me that the CC stripe is fat at the beginning of the RS rows and the MC stripe is fat at the opposite end. and I have two garter ridges in each thin section.
4-4-13 - started today to figure out recommended modifications for the shop blog …special thanks to knitloon for suggesting the YOs as M1’s on the next row.
