joined the 2nd ball just before starting the lace border and and the 3rd just before finishing the lace. I think I could make this with just 2 balls if I only worked the body to 231 stitches. really enjoyed knitting this and I will definitely make it again.

9-25-13 - lost count of how many repeats I’ve done on the border, but I’m definitely getting close to the end!

also, finished measurements = 12” wide x 49” wide (measured to widest part of crescent…actual length is a bit longer)
