Using size 8 in order to make a larger shawl.

This pattern is genius.

Since picking up the wraps of the w&t isn’t very intuitive at first, I made a table to point out when to pick up the wraps and knit them with the parent stitches. If anyone wants it, I think I can share it - the problem is that it has the pattern instructions for the spirals, so the designer may not want me giving that out.

Needed 25 inch tail for grafting (rather than 15in)

For the join in the spirals (done with row 49), first time working row 49, after c-o with backward loop, put a stitch holder onto the 2 loops, slip them to the left needle, etc. The second time working row 49, pick up the stitch marker and place the two loops onto the left needle left to right.

Grafting done from outside to inside of spiral; right side of work facing; needle with provisional cast on stitches is the “back” needle.

1/29 blocking
