Finished by end of April! Cuffs handknitted.
This pattern is easy, but knitting a sweater with it, was a bit tedious.
I started with a tubular cast on with all needles using a cast on comb and weights. I decided to start without a ribbed welt and want to fold in a part of the edge for a hem and seam that by hand later.
On my machine it was easier to push the locks without the orange strippers, so I soon did not use them any longer. The pushers of my duo 80 had to be watched carefully. They have a tendency to spring up a little after having been moved and so I had to press them back.
Some mistakes like two rows too many in orange as well as a change in the alternate position of the dots were declared as design elements.
I am glad to have finished the 4 parts of the sweater so far.
The neckline was formed on Passap Automatic in stockinette.
I am still not sure whether I will handknit the cuffs or knit them on the Duo80 and craft them together with the arms.

Das Muster aus dem lila Passap Musterbuch geht leicht, war aber trotzdem etwas mühsam zu stricken. Ich begann mit dem Doppelbettanschlag über alle Nadeln, mit Anschlagskamm und Gewichten. Die orangen Abstreifer ließ ich bald weg, da es sich ganz ohne Abstreifer leichter strickte. Kein Rippenbündchen - später wird unten ein Streifen umgeschlagen und von Hand gesäumt.
Die Stößer mussten dauernd beobachtet und zum Teil zurückgepresst werden. Einige nicht so sehr auffällige Fehler erklärte ich zu Designelementen. Ich bin ganz froh, die 4 Teile nun so weit fertiggestrickt zu haben. Die Ärmelbündchen werde ich entweder von Hand anstricken oder auf der Duo 80 und sie dann mit dem Maschenstich anbringen. Ich fühle mich auf der Duo 80 immer noch nicht so sicher, dass ich Halsausschnitte dort im Muster ausformen kann. Daher wurden Vorder- und Rückenteil auf die Passap Automatic umgehängt und dort beendet.
Fertiggestellt Ende April! Die Ärmelbündchen sind von Hand gestrickt.
