Used ‘thumb trick’ from appendix

At top, decreased to 6 sts, then decreased again to 4 stitches and pulled yarn through.

Thumb: pick up live sts + 2 at each end for a total of 17 sts, decrease 2 extra sts on first rnd

Finished: I love them! Except I think I need a thumb gusset for better fit. If thumb isn’t lying against palm, the fabric pulls and seems like it probably will wear out more quickly.
