Notes

Making the adult large using instructions for DK weight yarn, because I want the mittens to be large for felting.

Long tail CO 48 sts for cuff using size 7 needles, then switched to size 3 for cuff ribbing.

07-20-2019

After ribbing, switched to size 7 needles. K 1 row black, then start colorwork.

08-23-2019

Ripped back to cuff, changed mind about color scheme. Going to do chunky stripes.

These were a big failure! I finished a color=blocked version. I had intended to felt them down, but they wouldn’t felt down enough for my bf to use as mittens. He wore them as slippers for a few months, but the wool started getting holes very quickly. Ah well, I’ll no better next time not to just guess when it comes to felting :)
