April 24 My mom already has this pattern, and I already have the yarn I want to make it- a nice, soft light blue and a dark, rich brown yarn.

May 13 Ordering more Westpoint Blue Heather to make double soles for more comfortable and prettier slippers. Will have to wait for at least two weeks before it comes, so this has fallen into hibernation. Zzz…

May 31 The yarn finally arrived, so I’m taking this out of hibernation. I’ve forgotten how easy it is. I should be done in a couple of days.

June 4 Finished today. It was worth the wait. I can just imagine how the slippers will look felted!

July 7 I still haven’t felted these yet! I can’t believe I’ve put it off for so long…

August 25 Okay, they’re finally done. I’m not sure if I’ll ever wear these, because the sides are a little short for my liking, but I’m just glad to have them out of the way.
