February 1 Finally, something my sister Liesl and I agree on. This will be a Christmas present for her. My mom agreed to do a mini-KAL with me on this so she can help me with any difficulties along the way.

February 8 I just started the lace portion, and I’ve had to rip out to the lifeline a couple of times. It’s going pretty well despite that.

February 18 I’m finished! This was one of the most challenging things I’ve knitted (I haven’t done much lace in my knitting lifetime), but it was fun. I hope my sister likes it!
