Turkish cast on 12. Rounded toe. Increase up to 64 total sts. 2 at a time magic loop

Wound cake clockwise, pushed center tail down through center of ball. Testing rox rocks less over twisting of the center tail. (I do think there was less extra twist than usual. I still needed to stop and untwist, but it wasn’t as frequent.)

Decided to try a fleegle heel.

Started increases half way through the 5th repeat.

I started the eye of partridge heel during the decrease wedge.

Purl rows normal.

K rows - slip 1, k1 across to 2 stitches before gap. Slip1, k2tog, k1, turn.

After the last k1, don’t turn. K next heel side of round, closing the last gap with a ssk. On the next round, decrease away the extra 2 stitches. Ssk, k across to last two stitches, k2tog, finish round. Alternate each slip stitch row on bavk with a plain kit row.

Repeate these 4 rounds until heel is 2 inches away from turn.

Short row wedge -

After a plain knit row (heel side only) knit 11, pm, work alternating slips for 10 sts, pm, k1. Turn & double stitch. Work to 1 stitch past marker, purl, turn and ds. Work back and forth sliping stitches on the knit sides, working to 1 past the doubled stitch and then turning, ds.

DS, slip1, p across to ds, p2.

11 total repeats on the front of the sock.

I did 3 knit rows before starting a 1x1 twisted rib for 20 rows. Then Jenny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off.
