This is a gradient set that I put together myself:
1 - color 066 Lavanda 94.0 g at start.
2 - color 872 Purpuras (visually lighter) 97.9 g at start.
3 - color 872 Purpuras (visually darker) 98.3 g at start.
4 - color 869 Cumparsita 100.2 g at start.
5 - color 049 Jupiter (visually lighter) 101.4 g at start.
Color 1 - 73 g left after section 2.
37 g left after section 3.
Row 4&5 of section 4 with color 2, hiding the tails in the icord edge.
2 rows color 2, 4 rows color 1, 4 rows color 2, 6 rows of color 1, 6 rows of color 2, 4 rows of color 1, 4 rows of color 2, finished the short rows with color 2.
20 g of color 1 left after short rows.
77.8 g of color 2 after short rows.
0.9 g of color 1 left after section 4.
36.3 g of color 2 after section 4.
Section 5 - switched to size 8 tips at the garter section.
Started alternating with color 3 when there was 12.4 g of color 2 left. Used up all of skein two. Hiding the tails in the icord edge.
I have 287 stitches, 3 edge stitches on either side, 1 stitch before the 11 stitch short row sections across, and 5 stitches between my last short row and the edge stitches. I am going to do yo, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, k2tog for the 5 stitches, then (yo, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, k2tog, yo, k1, yo k2tog, yo, k1, yo k2tog) for each 11 stitch section across. Ending with a yo k1, slip 3 with yarn in front.
I have 41.8 g left of color 3 after the garter part of section 5. I am going to start alternating with color 4 in the same blend pattern as my first and second colors. About 8 g per row. 364 stitches. Used up all of color 3.
37.5 g of color 4 left before last short row section. Adding in color 5 on the purl side for the first short row. Used up all of color 4.
15 stitches between short row turns. I changed the interval because I was worried about running out of yarn. 35.0 g of color 5 left before final yo row. Yo p1, (yo p2tog) 6 times for the first section then *yo p1, (yo p2tog) 7 times across.
29.2 g left before bind off.
14.2 g left after bind off.
29 x 60 inches before blocking.
31 x 70 inches after blocking.
My last section added about 8 inches to the center depth.
