Notes

Provisional Cast-on 79 sts with size 6 circular using the tail of my yarn for the waste yarn.

Set up Row 1 - (k1, p1) across to last stitch, k1. turn
Set up Row 2 - (p1, k1) across to last stitch. Join in the round by slipping the last stitch onto the beginning of round needle, purl2tog to join round. place bor marker 78 sts

K1, P1 ribbing for 26-30 rounds

Fold up brim. Hem cast-on edge to live stitches.

Practically Jogless Welts - row 1 in new stitch around to bor marker, sm double next stitch and slip to right needle. work around to bor marker, remove marker, work doubled stitch, replace marker as new bor. Snug first few stitches of new round.

Gauge info on 6s
Ribbing worked flat - 32 sts = 5 inches
Stockinette worked flat - 32 sts = 7 inches
