MC - grey - 114.8 g
CC1 - purple - 21.1
CC2 - blue - 21.1
CC3 - green - 21.5
CC4 - yellow - 21.6
CC5 - red - 21.2
19.9 g purple after short rows.
19.2 g blue after short rows.
18.2 g green after short rows.
17.3 g yellow after short rows.
15.7 g red after short rows.
Finished the first MC skein just before the red short rows.
I wanted my purple to have the most usage, and I ended up with the red instead. Red should have been my cc1. For the section 4 color changes I am going to invert my ccs. CC5 now equals purple. CC1 = red.
20 g of grey left before starting section 4 rows.
15.7 g left after first section. I went under the carried yarn under the slip stitch on the last row of each section 4 and 5.
11.5 g after section 5.
Notes about this yarn. I had no problems with several skeins of this yarn in the past, but not only did one of my gravity skeins have a knot, but it has several sections where one of the plies broke and I had to cut out several inches of weak yarn and rejoin.
I picked up another skein of gravity so I would have enough to finish. I admit to not swatching, and not choosing the suggested yarn base or yardage.
New skein has 115.1 g at start. Joined in the end of row 5 after the 1st orange stripe in section 5. (Needed about 10 more grey rows plus the bind off.)
17.1 g purple after stripe rows.
16.2 g blue after stripe rows.
15.1 g green after stripe rows.
14.2 g yellow after stripe rows.
12.6 g red after stripe rows.
11.2 g yellow after stripe rows.
11.9 g green after stripe rows.
12.7 g blue after stripe rows.
13.8 g purple after stripe rows.
87.1 g gravity left from 3rd skein.
104 x 24 inches before blocking.
112 x 28 inches after blocking.
