Notes

21.3 g color A

107.2 g speckle June Berry

Crochet cast on 43

86.0 g speckle left after 17 repeats in color A.

Section 1 - color A 12 x 8 in before blocking.

I used magic knots to changes colors from one mini skein to the next. I held the speckled the entire way.

21.5 g speckle before section 5
21.9 g last gradient skein before section 5.

Bind Off - with about 3 yards of each working color left, you are ready for the bind off. After a finished row 1, start bind off on the wrong side. In the seed stitch sections, k the purls and purl the knits. In the center section k the knits, p the purls. Remove the stitch markers as you come to them.

When doing the k2tog or the p2tog, wrap backwards, to use a bit more yarn and mimic the twisted stitch edge of the crochet cast on.

Work the first stitch. *Work the next stitch in pattern, slip both stitches back to the left needle and work them together in the same manner as the one just worked. Repeat from star to last stitch. Work the last stitch, pick up the side bump below that stitch and work it together with the 2 stitches that get slipped back as a k3tog tbl with a backwards wrap. Pull the tails through the last loop and weave in ends.

I.e. k the next stitch, slip back, k2tog tbl with a backwards wrap, work the next stitch in pattern.

Or p the next stitch, slip back, p2tog with a backwards wrap, work the next stitch in pattern.

8 in x 58 in before blocking.

9 in x 74 in after blocking.
