After winding, switched the color order.

Color A - 702
Color B - 508
Color C - 710
Color D - night owl
Color E - 707

Cast on with size 4’s because I like the feel of my interchangeable set, and that is the smallest size in that set.

If this pattern stays in the order as clue 1, I will have blacks and teal greens on one side, and navy blues and tans on the other.

The column of twisted stitches on the right edge of the wrong side was driving me crazy, so I started over. I now Always drop the MC in front before the icord edge and Always drop the CC in back before the icord edge. The cc brp1 rows don’t change. The cc brk1 rows start with slip 3, move yarn to back.

Notes for next time - It looks like this can also be acompliashed by dropping the CC on the purl rows before the icord and then bringing the MC over the top of it as you turn to work the icord of the next row. Trapping the CC color down the back. The CC knit rows don’t change.

280, 1, 280 sts. With 2 garter ridges to go. 56.6 g left of color A

44.6 g left before bind off.
31.4 g left after bind off.

After working 3 i-cord bind off stitches, before slipping the stitches back, lift the bar between stitches like a m1l. Slip the stitches back and continue binding off this stitch and then 3 more, m1l. Repeat.

When slipping the icord stitches back to the left needle, I always flip the direction of the first one, so that later, when I do the k2tog tbl, the edge stitch isn’t twisted.

92 x 45 inches before blocking.
96 x 52 inches after wet blocking. Spun to wring out the water, spread out all night to dry, then a light tumble in the drier to fluff up.
