I’m so happy that I finally! completed the cardi, whcih took me much longer than I thought.

I used 3 different yarns instead of 2. The main reason is that the original color combo, dark red and white, turned a bit like granny-like to me, so I added light purple to bring it on!!
I knitted up and my daugter put it on ….
Sadly, the tactic made only little contribution.

The final struggling!! I ended up with making a flower brooch and filling in 2 button holes I’d already made, to tidy up around the chest.

For the flower brooch, I refered to 2 Japanese books, Simple Knit Wardrobe: Spring/Summer (かんたんニットワードローブ　はる・なつ) for the flower and Motif desings (モチーフ模様編み集（ONDORI）) for the leaves.

おばさんカラーに見えて納得がいかなかったので、フラワーコサージュを作って、ごまかしててみました。
