Although I love alpaca, the Remix is both more practical for the climate I spend the most time in, and I already have enough on hand, now that I’m admitting I am not likely to knit a Beatnik anytime soon. With the holidays around the corner, big rectangles of garter stitch sound just about the speed I can handle right now.

Knitting with a single strand. Getting a gauge of 14.5 sts/4” and a nice nubbly fabric that has a comfortable drape. Aiming for 7” of positive ease for myself; added 6 stitches to the cast on for the front and back pieces. Will probably adjust the sleeve size as well.
