Notes

I didn’t need another oversized cardigan, so used size 10 needles for a gauge of 13 sts per 4 inches and knitted the smallest size.

I used a yarn over and knit 2 together combo for the raglan increases. I ended the raglan increases with 32 sts for each sleeve and knitted even for a 2 rows to get a little more depth in the armpit. I cast on 4 sts under each arm.

To knit the sleeves, I picked up 36 sts for each. I knit 2 rows. I decreased 2 sts in the next row (k1, ssk, knit to 3 sts before end of round, k2tog, k1). I knit 1 round even, dec 2, knit 1 round even, dec 2. This gave me 30 sts for each sleeve. I knit about 6-7 inches and then decreased by 2. After another two inches, I decreased by 2 again. This gave me 26 sts to finish the last 3-4 inches. These are 3/4 length sleeves.

I love this cardigan! I love that it’s a close fit. I won’t be able to wear this in the winter over a layer of clothes, but it’s great for transition seasons and over a tank for work.
