I started this project on 12th September 2014, finished on 12th November 2014 - exactly 2 months for a cowl I don’t want to wear myself.

It was exciting to watch the colours creating some surprising pattern, and I really like the cowl itself. But I think the colours do not flatter me.

As my husband likes the cowl, he said he will wear it. But this forces him to be well shaved for not destroying my work - and he is very lazy in shaving…

I got the pattern from the shop itself and could not find out where it was from, but at least the main pattern it is a very simple one:

row 1 : * k5, yo, k1, yo, k5, (slip1,slip1,k1, then pull this last stitch through the two formerly slipped ones) * to be repeated
row 2 : knit (if knitting in a round, else purl)

(the pattern is much easier than the description!)
