27/08/2008: I’m now 1/3 of the way through (ok, ever so slightly past 1/3, but….) I’m really liking the way the colors go together, especially the way it looks spiraled ‘round itself. (For easier transport & manageability, I’m folding it in half lengthwise & then rolling it to my current point.)

But dear gods, it is a bit of a mindless knit. The only thing one really has to watch is to not so caught up in the mindlessness that one forgets to keep count of how long ‘til the next color change.

30/09/2008: So, the recipient has seen it in progress & loves it. Yay! I’ll soon be finished with the knitting part & then fringe & done! Errr, I’ve never done tassels before. They don’t appear difficult, but watch -- I’ll find a way to make them hard. :}
