I can’t seem to excited about this project. I like the yarn and I like the pattern, but I’m just not into knitting this one. Nevertheless, it will get done. There’s a new baby coming who’s going to need this soon.

Finally, FINALLY I am done. I rarely knit the same thing twice. Now I remember why. I could not get into this project, and of course, once I needed to get it done (time crunch - baby due soon), I got in the mood to be knitting a dozen other items.

The final blanket measures about 23 (L) x 27 (w) inches square. I was not really paying attention to gauge with this project. I’ve knit this project 2x and I’ve used this yarn many many many times, so I instinctively used 6s for the blanket. I’m pleased with the final product.
