I like both yarns. Two different kinds of yarn which makes the shawl has contrasting stripes. The eyelet open work added some texture feeling between stripes. It is easy and fun to work with.
For all Charts, the yo on both sides of the red area are not included in the pattern repeat.
For row 1 of Chart B, the pattern repeat is only yo, k2tog, to the last st before the center st, k1, yo. The other half is mirrored the first half.
For row 2 of Chart B, yo, k1, then start the pattern repeat (yo, k2tog). The other half repeat the first half.
