Notes

I’m a little bit afraid that the medium size will be too large for my head now that I’ve started knitting it. I’m going to try and do one pattern repeat and see how it fits.

Had to frog and start over, my head is apparently tiny! After I finished the second time, it’s just about perfect! After blocking, I realized that I probably could have taken out another pattern repeat.

Also, this particular yarn doesn’t really frog well. It’s very sticky, and, in my opinion, didn’t look quite as nice after I frogged it. However, I don’t think that it really changed the look of the hat, especially after it was blocked. I love the colors that Maxima is offered in, and how super duper soft it is, so I’ll be buying it again!

Final Thoughts

I would definitely knit this pattern again. It’s a fairly quick knit, and I enjoyed it a lot. It was the perfect introduction to Brioche, and I’m already looking forward to my next Brioche project. I think the only thing that I might have done differently is gone down a needle size or two for the ribbing so it’s just a bit tighter. Other than that, I’m very happy with my finished project, and have already gotten several compliments!
