4/26/12 Done and I hate it. This is the most ungodly ugly thing I’ve ever seen. It looks terrible on, the color is ghastly and just to add perfect insult to injury I have 1.5 balls of this stupidly expensive, hideously ugly 100% cashmere yarn left over. The pattern said it would need 7. If I could give all the components negative stars I would. Never another Versaci project again.

This sweater has been relegated to “housecoat”. It just needs an iPod pocket.

4/24/12 Working on the last few inches of the last front remaining. All that is left is to sew it up and knit the collar. I’ll get some hooks too I think. I want to wear it Friday with some dark shades so I do not blind myself on the glowing obnoxiousness of this color.

4/21/12 Knitting body in one piece because I need this project to be over soon. Up to the halfway mark now.

4/15/12 Both sleeves done and I started the body. Knitting in one piece.
4/9/12 Finished sleeve…again.
4/8/12 Finished the sleeve and then decided to rip it out and start over. The green and yellow center stitches stitches made NO SENSE whatsoever until I realized finally that the shaded columns of the pattern where normally that means “no stitch” are just shaded because the designer wanted to mark the middle row where the design changes direction. Basically the pattern is just a chart and you’re on your own so be warned that it violates certain standard rules.

Sleeve started over again and is half done.

This is going to be the most expensive UGH! I’ve ever made but I am pushing forward because this yarn is completely unsuitable for anything else.
