I’m doing some bust increases now that the fairisle yoke is done…kept trying it on to see where to start making some speace for the bosoms..then did m1r, k1, m1l around 30 sts in from each side “seam” marker, every 4th row, 3 times. Knit straight for about“, then decreasing centred around the same two bust points, but to avoid the pointy boob effect my decreases are spaced a bit wider (i.e. ssk, k3, k2tog). I’ll just keep trying it on to see how far down I should take things. For now I’m postponing the side increases -- since the upper body of my version of the dress is going to be a bit more fitted than the a-line of the original…skirt will be a-line. That’s the plan, anyway :)

Summer 2014: hibernating temporarily…when the weather cools I’ll do those final steps :)

JAN 2016: can hardly believe I let this project hibernate for SO long (almost 18 mos). I am back to it, making a second elbow-length sleeve and then I’m going to rip back the hem (which did not want to sit flat and ended too high on my leg), extend the length a few inches, and ENJOY!
