This project, although I found the colour work difficult, is beautiful. The neckline is loose, which I like, but others might find they need to be tighter.

The yarn from Skein is beautiful. I can’t rave about it enough! I washed my skeins first so that there was no chance of the colours running in the completed project and after that I found it a bit split-y to knit, but OK when I changed metal needles. It is very soft with great drape.

The colour work does take some doing! I tried knitting with both hands, but I don’t have the coordination in my left hand to tension the yarn between my ring and little fingers, so the whole thing became a bit of a mess. I pulled it all out and started again, knitting on the wrong side (yes purling, but like ironing, I quite like purling), which made it much easier, faster and the floats much more even.

Modifications
Knit the yoke on the wrong side and continued knitting on the wrong side after the separation of the body and the sleeves.

Sleeves in the round without the split sleeve and knitted them a little bit longer.
