Eight days from cast on to blocking…you’ve got to love that, thank you Kate and Kristen, I’m not sure this pattern/yarn combination is totally right, but this is probably going to be one of the most worn pieces I have in my wardrobe this winter as it is so cosy!

Such an easy fun knit, I only lengthened the body by a row, and the sleeves to the length of the fourth size, otherwise everything is as written. The bottom hits just above my hip bone which is perfect to wear with pants and skirts that sit on my natural waist.

I worked out that I wasn’t going to have quite enough blue yarn to finish so I made the bands and collar grey, which I wasn’t sure about until my friend Ms Kate gave me the perfect buttons.

Bliss is a beautiful soft merino yarn which drapes rather than holds it’s shape, but this cardigan is beautifully soft and squishy and that collar is to die for.

Body: Knit 36 rows to underarm 25g of each skein remaining.

Sleeves: Six extra rows after ribbing, 74 rows stocking stitch to underarm.
