Notes

An easy pattern which was just the style I was looking for. I’m really happy with how it turned out, a quick knit with lovely finished details.

Be aware that this jumper is shorter than it looks on the model. I wanted something to wear with high waisted pants and skirts so it’s perfect for me as it hits just on the top of my hip bone, but others might think about adding another moonflower repeat down the body (easy enough to do) or lengthening the ribbing to get a bit more length.

My gauge was off slightly so I went up a size and have 4 inches of ease in the finished garment.

I continued the moonflower pattern down one side of each sleeve by not casting off at the end of the front and back. I stopped on the back after two repeats and on the front after three repeats at the cuff. This felt more organic.

I nearly matched the pattern at the side seams, if I were to do it again I would only have to knit an extra couple of rows to make the moonflower pattern wrap around the body. I would also graft and/or pick up and knit those stitches.
