This yarn is so cute. Cute in a hank. Cute on a swift. Cute in the ball. Cute knitting up! I hope it doesn’t pool weird when I get around the ball of the foot.

10/22: reminded how much I love knitting socks. Makes me want to knit all the time and in less than a week I’ve gotten through the heel. (Pooling is fine so far. Though the colors stripe so thinly that it looks more green and purple than rainbow. Still so cute.)

10/25: one week update…sock one is nearly done. Time flies when I’m having fun!

11/4: and they’re done!

I decided I want to be the kind of person who wears their handknit socks. The thing that has stopped me is that I don’t have shoes in which handknit socks feel comfy. So I bought a pair of Birkenstocks and now I really, really want these socks to be done.
