Got to K lv 6

Knit on these in the car on the way to Arizona then put them aside to knit my grand canyon socks. Picked them up again this week and making good progress. Watched Gone With The Wind last night with mom and finished the first sock, started the second one and already onto the body of the foot. I hope these keep going fast…I have other projects I am excited about.

Got seriously sidetracked…when I picked them back up it was one sock and one toe done…decided to finish them and they were done in less than two weeks.

Only took two weeks but finally on 4/10 I wove in the ends on these. This is one of two pairs of socks that I did that to this morning and both of them had one stitch on the foot that I had dropped and had to sew in with regular sewing thread. I did that, threw these in the washing machine and when I pulled them out to block they seem all twisted. I literally spent 5 minutes trying to figure out why the heels and toes point in different directions - like I did a 90 degree turn or something? I put them on my feet and they work. But the stitches make a spiral. Or do they? I finally gave up and went to work…just a little terrified I’ll get home and realize that these are totally trashed and I have to start over. Crossing my fingers!

4/11: yeah, no…I have no idea what that was, but it was totally fine when I got home and they were dry and I can send these off today!
