Notes

Amy had this yarn and it has this weird fading which she thought was from sun but appears throughout the skein so I don’t know what it is. Anyway, she didn’t want it for sweaters because of weird splotchy color variation but it turns out all the texture of a granny blanket hides it just fine! So onto granny blanket #3 for me using instructions from this website:
https://www.thespruce.com/how-to-crochet-classic-granny-s...

And 9 balls of this stuff. It’s crocheting up quickly - about a ball every day I’m on shift at the skate park. I hope somebody wants a bluish/purplish blanket.

5/9: Steady work is quick work. Got to the first time at the beginning corner on the last ball of yarn and remembered I’d need to finish it. No way I head enough yarn for a scallop edge I just went with single crochet in each double…it cinched in all the edges which was good because the natural shape was a little splayed out. I had just the rigjt amount of yarn. Mostly just need to see if it cinched too tight or it’ll block square.

All in all pretty happy with it. And need a new project for work starting tomorrow!
