This whole sheltering in place thing has me way out of sorts. But it also has me sitting in my car at the skate park for 5 hours at a stretch and I’ve already used up nine balls of yarn crocheting a granny square baby blanket. In desperation I have gone to the hutch and found a yarn I just want to get rid of. I’m pretty sure this is still left over from that giant stash Rosie thrifted for me and contains assorted Rowan DK cottons that I’m going to mash up together into a project. Too intimidated to try and figure out math on my own I found a project that seems like I can just follow the instructions and end up with a usable result. That assumption is highly likely to come back to bite me but I’m coming forward anyway. This will be the first thing I’ve knit all year and it’s about darn time!

6/10: fun and functional and used up all the baby pink. I may make another with some purples and yellow in the stash. Made 12 month sized one by followingbstitch counts for 18 month size with lengths for 12 month size (gauge problems).
