Going back to the wilderness I needed another project. I didn’t want to make socks. Didn’t need another hat. Scarf seemed about right and I kind of talked myself into the value of a purple scarf that I could wear at lent or something. This pattern is a potato chip pattern - can’t stop when I start. I didn’t knit as much as I expected to in the wilderness but put on a couple feet anyway. Loving it!

I can’t even remember when I finished the knitting. It’s been in my mending bag awaiting blocking for months. Finally, on Holy Thursday, the last reasonable day I’ll have an occasion to wear it I’ve blocked it. It’ll probably still be wet by the time I have to dress for mass. I guess there’s always next year?
