I’m hoping to recreate a version of the Yarn Harlot’s Group Knit Baby Blanket from her project page and blog. I saw it back in April and just fell in love. It is her personal pattern so I will have to do my best with the two pics that she has posted!
9-16-11 Garter stitch rectangle done. Picked up stitches around adding two in each corner for the miters.
Remember when picking up stitches on the vertical edges to calculate the right number to pick up by measuring the length and multiplying that by your gauge. For me I needed to pick up two stitches every other row not including the extra stitch in the first and last for the corner.
9-21-11 Stripes are done and now for the feather and fan lace. I choose an 11 stitch lace pattern.
10-1-11 Done and blocking. I hope to get artsy pics in soft lighting like the Yarn Harlot later.
I wish I could make colors come out accurate in photos. The green is really a soft sage and not as distinct as in the photo.
