Notes

Top down raglan for my three year old daughter. I didn’t use a pattern just a basic template for neck shaping (From Barbara Walker’s book and a class I took from Wendy at Yarnivore in San Antonio, TX) and I knit from there. I used stash yarn (bonus!!) and I learned that I would prefer the stripes to start lower, but everybody else says it looks fine. I also learned that the double increases in the lower body created more of a bell shape (inside out pockets like pouches at the hips) then I was looking for. Next time I will do single increases every other row to create a more A line shape. The fair isle was on the fly but the elephant pattern took some charting to make it come out right.
