The pattern is well written and I’ve enjoying the project. Cascade Pure Alpaca band claims to be worsted but my gauge is 22 sts/ 24 rows per 4”. I wanted to add length so I increased by 10 sts per section and I’m happy with the results. The lace pattern is pretty and very easy to memorize. This project is perfect for vacations, TV, movies, socializing, etc. You can put it down and pick it up anywhere. Very pleasant project.
Pre-blocked shawl measured 31” wingspan x 28”.
Blocked shawl measures 37” wingspan x 38”.
I blocked it within an inch of it’s life!
