This is actually a mash-up of knit, crochet and embroidery freeform. I used size 1 needles for some of the motifs as well. Motifs were made and connected with an Irish Crochet filling.

Originally the inspiration was Kokopelli, a Native American icon but each time I finished a motif it looked more extraterrestrial. So I decided to name it Alien Life Vest.
