12/19/12: Remember to knit your swatch IN THE ROUND!!!

Size 7 for flat knitting. Size 6 for knitting in the round. Had to rip and reknit a couple of times but it’s going great now.

1/6/13: Holy knitting needles, Batman! I’ve finished the raglan shaping, cast on front stitches and joined together. Knitting down the body now. Ready to begin waist shaping!!

1/25/13: So…. I noticed a mistake in the lace and had to unknit, stitch by stitch, about an inch worth of fabric to get back to where I could (hopefully) fix the problem. I don’t trust my lace-fixing skills enough to drop the stitches down and then pick them back up in the right pattern, nor did I want to take the sweater off the needles and frog it back to the mistake. I think I’m back on the right track now. I also don’t know why all the mistakes I’m making with the lace only happen on the left side of the cable. The lace is not that hard but apparently it’s easy for my little pea-brain to screw it up repeatedly. Time to make use of life lines.

3/11/23: Body done. Will do sleeves tomorrow. Making short ones. Hope to wear this on Thursday.
