Done!

9/8/13: Today is my grandmother’s 93rd birthday. When I talked to her on the phone today, she mentioned that the change in weather makes her feel cold. I said, “Nana, you should wear those socks I made you.” She said she would, and that she’d really like some more. I immediately went stash diving and came up with 2 balls of leftover Tosh Vintage from a sweater I knitted earlier this year. They just BEGGED to become my grandmother’s socks! How could I say no? Worsted weight yarn should knit up quickly, and I’m doing them two at a time (toe up!). This is a new technique for me. I’ve done toe up socks, and I’ve done 2AAT socks but not both at the same time. This is a project and yarn matched in heaven for my grandmother, who’s an angel on earth!
