I have knit the foot, gusset and heel flaps and am now re-loosening my tension (rather than going up a needle size as my 2.25 mm needles are in use) to knit the legs.

I finally cast on for the M size AGAIN and am re-knitting them as tight as I can (i.e. tensioning the yarn by wrapping it twice around my little finger instead of once).

I loved the pattern in the L size the most but the smallest needles I have are 2.0 mm.

This faux cable stitch pattern (knit using SSK and YO) is easy and stunning.

ARGH! I have knit two pattern repeats of the medium size, tried them on and they are still too big! Time to frog them again! sigh

Having knit the first 6” of the socks (two at a time) for the 74 st (L) size without trying them on, I have the pattern completely memorised but the socks are way to large for me. My knitting seems to have got a lot looser in recent months. Looks like I will be frogging them and restarting. It is not like I can knit on a smaller needle size!
