Nah. Frogging. Clever sock construction but I will never wear them. Having knit one sock and tried it on, I can not see them being comfortable.

It turns out that 2.25 mm needles are knitting the first (left) sock up perfectly large enough for my big feet and so, to make them fit a smaller size, I would probably have to use 2.0 mm.

This pattern is designed as written for a US Women’s size 8.5 (UK size 6) and I am a UK size 8 so I am using a larger needle in the hope that these might fit me. If I cannot make them fit me then I expect they will be a gift for someone or I will rip them out and use a different pattern.

The 123Knit image on this project shows how I count rows and stitches.

After knitting most of the foot of the left sock using a 2.5 mm needle it is loose on me and so I am frogging to restart with 2.25 mm as per the pattern. My gauge is obviously pretty loose these days.
