Feb 2013: Done! This languished, 5 rounds from being done, for a long time. I’m doing an epic house purge and I came upon these socks. I finished them right after I finished my Milos. Which is good, because I didn’t have any wool socks left (all 6 pairs I own got holes in them within a month of each other). Win!

Jan 2011: I knew I’d be in trouble when the first sock had only about 5 inches of yarn left over from the first skein of yarn. My second sock is a good 10 rows short of being done, and I’m out of yarn. I’ll substitute from inside the stash (it’s the toe, which will be in my shoe most of the time). Serves me right for adding a pattern repeat in the leg. Guess there was a reason why the leg was so short in the pattern!

October 2010: I’m having a hard time getting a good gauge for this pattern. I have ordered a 2.25 mm needle, which I think will do the trick
