1.2.12
This was my favourite sweater in high school. As I was a size 2 then, and will no longer be that size ever again, I turned it into a pillow and a soaker after my first daughter was born. My second is currently wearing the pants and seeing them again makes me really miss my sweater. So I thought that I would take a crack at reproducing it. Wish me luck! replication magnifying motives

for finishing I noticed that the steek edge wasn’t all that nice. I think that I prefer the crocheted steek like the one that I did on the owls sweater. It held the yarn ends better. A fellow KW knit mobber suggested I needle felt the ends to make them look nicer so I actually needle felted one strand of the grey yarn onto the frayed edges then trimmed them. It came out looking quite nice and was a lot easier to blanket st down. I took pictures of my progress (pics 4 - 6) to show you how it looks.

All finished!! The sweater turned out beautifully and I can’t wait to wear it! I am hoping that it will be dry in time to submit it into our local knitting competition… entries have to be in by tonight! I am a little proud of me.
